Day 02: Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding:
After having breakfast in the morning, you will take 30 minutes of scenic flight from Kathmandu, through the mountains to the Tenzing- Hilary Airport at Lukla. Though the Airport is considered as one of the most dangerous airports in the world, flight to Lukla will be full of adventure and thrill. The real trekking then starts from Lukla when you start hiking from Lukla to the nearby village of Phakding. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Phakding.
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar:
The trail continues along the Dudh Koshi River before climbing up the way through Himalayan Pine and Deodar Cedar forests to make it to Namche Bazaar, the business and trading hub of Everest Region. Namche used to be and still is a crucial place for trade between the traders of Tibet and Nepal. Items like salt, dried meat and other consumable goods have been sold and bought in Namche over the years. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Namche.
Day 04: Rest day at Namche Bazaar:
The fourth day is set aside for acclimatization in Namche as acclimatizing to the changing altitude and the environmental condition is very important during Everest trekking. A day of acclimatization and rest will prepare your body well for the upcoming challenge in the trekking. Trekking experts suggest to continue having mild walk rather than to stop completing in the name of rest. We will have casual walk through the busy market area of Namche and then talk with the local Sherpa people of Namche. If you feel like exploring more, you can even pay a brief visit to the Khumjung Village which offers one of the best views of Everest and other mountains.
Day 05–Trek to Tengboche:
After a day of acclimatization in Namche, we resume our trek and walk through the trail, enjoying the views of mountain peaks like Thamserku, Kantega and Kusum Kangru. After a gentle descend, the trail then rises uphill before you come across the stone gate built by Lamas that acts as the gateway to Tengboche. Located at 3860m altitude, Tengboche allows the best sunset views of Everest.
Day 06–Trek to Dingboche:
Enjoying the scenic views of Lobuche peak, Ama Dablam, Nuptse and other peaks, we will move forward along several scattered villages lined with chortens and Mani Walls to the village of Pangboche. Entering the Imja Valley, we will lower down the hill to Lobuche River prior to escalating uphill to Dingboche where we will be staying overnight.
Day 07–Rest Day in Dingboche:
The next day you will be acclimatizing to the high altitude and the changing environmental condition. Acclimatization is very important when it comes to high altitude trekking in Nepal. Mild walking is preferred than lying idle during acclimatization. The problem of high altitude sickness is a common problem faced by the trekkers during trekking in the Everest region. Side trip to Chhukung can be arranged which takes 3-4 hours from Dingboche. Enjoying the glaciers and snow shrouded peaks, we will return back to Dingboche.
Day 08- Trek to Lobuche:
Walking along the trail through the Khumbu Khola Valley, we will cross the bridge over the stream to Dugla with views of Thamserku, Nuptse and other mountains. Crossing the boulders from Khumbu Glacier we will move forth Chupki Lhara whence the trail descends through the glacier to Lobuche that allows the exquisite views of Nuptse, Pumori, Khumbutse and several other mountains.
Day 09- Trek to Everest Base Camp and Gorak Shep:
Moving along the rocky path with mesmerizing views of the pool of Khumbu glacier and icebergs, we will cross Thangma Riju and advance through Changri Glacier to Gorak Shep which then eventually leads us to the Everest Base Camp. Later we will walk down the trail back to Gorak Shep where we will be staying in a camp.

Kalapatthar gained worldwide popularity after former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal held a cabinet meeting at Kalapatthar to draw world’s concerns towards the problem of climate change. Indulging in the serene beauty of Everest and several other Mountains, we will make a return trip back to Gorak Shep and then all the way down to Lobuche where we will be staying overnight.
Day 11- Trek to Dzongla:
The next day, we will resume our trek from Lobuche further pursuing down the trail. We will then briefly climb uphill to make our way towards Dzongla where we will enjoy the finest views of Lobuche, Lobuche West, Cholatse, among other mountains.
Day 12- Cross Cho La Pass, Descend to Thagnag Kharka
Moving along the rocky terrain, we will enter the valley before moving down the steep slope and chasing the icy path all the way to Cho La Pass. Lowering down the stone paved path, we will arrive at Phedi prior to heading towards ridge that stretches further to Thagnag Kharka.
Day 13- Trek to Gokyo:
The trail on this day advances forth the path of glacier that opens up to a lake which then further takes us through the easy trail along Dudh Koshi River to Gokyo located adjoining the third lake where we will be staying overnight.
Day 14– Trek to Gokyo Ri, Back to Gokyo:
An early morning walk will lead us to Gokyo Ri located at 5300 meters of altitude above the sea level.
