Day 01: On the first day, our representative will pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu upon your arrival and transfer you to the hotel, where a well decorated room (as per your request) suitable for the first conjugal night in Nepal awaits you. Depending on your arrival time, we take you to a sightseeing around Kathmandu after you take some rest and become fresh at the hotel.
Day 02: You will spend your second day in Kathmandu observing its historic and religious places. Although, the downtown Kathmandu is not so great due to the heavy traffic, haphazard infrastructure and disorganised system, there are some great places within the valley which are very beautiful and have religious/historic value. Some of the places you will visit are Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, the Swayambhunath temple (also known as Monkey temple), and Bouddhanath Stupa among others. (As per the availability of your time your stay in Kathmandu can be extended. There are many other good places to see, a visit in the outskirts of Kathmandu is very enriching in terms of natural beauty and the hospitality of the people).
Day 03: On the third day, you check out from the Hotel in Kathmandu and leave for Nagarkot via Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is a historic town rich in culture and architecture of the medieval era. There are many pagoda type temples, ponds, and other traditional architecture. We then go to Chagunarayan, a historic temple constructed in the 4th century by a Licchavi king. We can see a wonderful view of the sprawling city of Kathmandu from the hillock where the temple is constructed. From Chagunarayan we head towards Nagarkot. Depending on your interest we trek our way from Bhaktapur to Nagarkot via Chagunarayan or use a vehicle. Nagarkot is a hill-station on the north ridge of Kathmandu valley. It is famous for the viewing wide range of Himalayas and the views of the sunrise and sunset. After reaching Nagarkot and checking in at a hotel we stay on the terrace and observe the wonderful view of sunset and the mountains. It is really beautiful to see how the mountains change colour as the day and the dusk falls.
Day 04: We rise early on the fourth day to catch the glimpse of sunrise from Nagarkot. We stay on the terrace having breakfast observing the sun, that appears like a red-hot round fireball, slowly creeping up from behind the mountains. At the same time, we can also see a wide range of mountains glittering in the morning sun rays. The changing colours of the mountains is very artistic.
We then head to towards Dhulikhel, another historic and beautiful town of medieval era, located in the east of Kathmandu. Depending on your interest we can trek to Dhulikhel from Nagarkot via Nala and Banepa or we can travel by a vehicle via Bhaktapur and Sanga. In both the cases we can see wonderful landscape on the way. The views of the mountains and the sunrise and sunset are beautiful from Dhulikhel also.
Day 05: As on the fourth day, we rise early to catch the glimpse of the sunrise and the mountains in the clear sky. After breakfast, we see around the town perched on a hill while observing the beauty of the terraced fields below and the undulating mountains far away. Finally, you complete your short honeymoon tour and return to Kathmandu from where you can choose to extend your trip further or return. We will transfer you to the airport and bid you farewell if you are short of time or we will take you further to other parts of the country if you choose so.
