Mera Peak Climbing - 6,654 m.

Mera is a popular introduction to Himalayan Mountaineering. It is the highest peak in Nepal that requires a basic level of mountaineering skill and experience. Fit trekkers and climbers can join this straightforward snow climb to the summit.

Mera Peak lies in a beautiful, uninhabited region and boasts a summit that gives superb views of Everest, Makalu, Lhotse, Cho Oyu and Kangchenjunga. Our approach to Mera is longer than that provided by most expedition organisers in order to increase the acclimatisation period. This significantly improves everyone's chances of reaching the summit and makes its attainment less demanding, so that the fabulous views on the way to the top can be enjoyed to the full.
