aeropuerto de Kathmandú. En ese momento fuimos a su oficina en el centro de la
ciudad, y en cuestión un rato, estructuró un viaje para visitar dos sitios
turísticos de la capital, y una caminata de 3 días en los Himalaya. Inclusive, en
cuestión de minutos consiguío el permiso para hacer senderismo en las montañas y los
boletos de avión hacia Lukla. Desde el principio fue muy claro en los conceptos
incluidos en el viaje. Cumplió con todo lo acordado, y al final nos invitó a una
cena típica Nepalí, atendidos por el y su fina esposa. No me queda más que
recomendar ampliamente a Buddi y su agencia de viajes".

Me (Erhan Olcer) and my wife (Serpil YILMAZ OLCER) had a wonderful time in Kathmandu and around by kind assistance of Mr.Buddhi Bahadur Basnet from Blue Mountain Travels company.
Besides his professional approach in handling our 2 days tour package, Mr.Basnet has given us his friendship and deep knowledge while driving around exciting places of the city as well as the Nagarkot region.

In April-May 2011, we spent almost 20 days in Nepal. We went to Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan National Park.
In Kathmandu we visited the main Buddhists and Indus temples and then we headed to Pokara from where we left for a 11-days trekking aiming the Annpurna base camp. After Pokara we went to Chitwan where we did a photographic safari, canoing and driving elephants.
In this tour we had the support of Blue Mountain Travels & Tours and we were really satisfied and very impressed with the professionalism and dedication of Mr. Buddhi Basnet.
Always kind, Buddhi received us in his house, where we enjoyed the excellent local cuisine.
During our stay we were guided by Mr. Ram Bhattharai to whom we extend special thanks. We also thanks to Barat, the porter who was always close during the trekking.
We are used to make trips and have the support of local companies, but the treatment of Blue Mountain is especially close.
Thank you Budhi, Ram and Barat. We really hope to use your professional services again.

In December I visited Kathmandu for several days and am incredibly pleased with the professionalism and reliability of Buddhi Basnet and Blue Mountain Tours & Treks. Buddhi helped me create a detailed itinerary beforehand and kept me posted of all important details ensuring there were no surprises or hassles. He also tailored a tour to my budget and interests, making sure to help me create a full itinerary that was at the same time not too busy or rushed. Although I had my own ideas for hotels that I found on the internet, he suggested ones that turned out being much better than I had been able to find. I think for a trip to Nepal there is no substitute for "local knowlege" and Buddhi is an expert in this area. He welcomed me at the airport with a smile and set me up with an experienced and friendly guide. He checked in with me during my short trip and I even visited his home and met his family. This kind of personal touch I could never have had otherwise, and have rarely had with other tour companies-- this made my trip to Nepal unforgettable.

I went for trek with my family in the Annapurna region in the fall of 2009. It was a great experience.
Before going there, I though trekking was only for strong and young people. I was surprised to find there are easy treks that elderlies and children can also do.
It was a great trek.

I went to Pokhara, Chitwan and Lumbini. Pokhara is a beautiful place - with good landscape, lakes and beautiful view of the mountains.
I went there for two days, but ended up spending five.
Chitwan is also a nice place. You can see some wild animals.
Lumbini is so-so. Unless you are a devotee, not really worth visiting.

I booked a trekking for Everest region in Nepal with Blue Mountain Travel and Treks in Spring 2010. I was quite excited about the trip to Everest region, but I was not expecting much of a service from the guides except showing me the way and booking the hotels as I had similar experience with another company in the past.
However, I was pleasantly surprised when this young man who was deployed to 'show me the way' went the extramile by describing about every bits and pieces including nature, history, ethnicity etc of the region we passed through.
It was nearly a fruitful trip... much more than a mere physical trekking experience ... an enriching and learning experience.
