Overall, the activities of Nepal Tourim Board have been satisfactory as it has helped in developing tourism related activities in Nepal and has greatly flourished the industry of domestic tourism in the country. However, like any other organization in Nepal, NTB is also not spared of corruption and other issues as it has been plagued by reports of corruption and ineptness on the part of the board to effectively execute tourism related activities in Nepal. The appointment of board members directly by the government has also raised doubt amongst the tourism enthusiasts as they believe somebody with no technical expertise of tourism cannot help to upgrade the status of domestic tourism in the country.
