Located to the north of Kathmandu, Langtang shares its border with Tibet. Langtang Valley Trek route is one of the most scenic trekking routes in the world. Also known as Valley of Glaciers, this is the short trek near Kathmandu. Trekking route for Langtang  begins from Syabrubesi. We need to drive for almost 7 hours from Kathmandu. Our journey continues along waterfalls, green hills and terraces to Trishuli River. After lunch, we will follow the gravel road to Syabrubesi. An upward trail from Syabru besi will take us to Lama Hotel. Crossing the river, we will arrive at meadow full of lush green vegetation where we can see Himalayan cattle grazing over watchful eyes of shepherds. Langtang Valley route offers close-up views of Yala Peak, Gangchenpo, Langtang Lirung and other mountains. Our trail continues through Langtang National Park which provides shelter to wild life. It is mostly noted as home for red panda. The journey continues to Kyangjin Gompa. We will also visit nearby cheese factory where fermented cheese from goat is manufactured.

Kyangjin Gompa is the farthest that we travel in Langtang Valley Trek package. We will follow the returning trail. Trek route from Langtang Valley continues through rhododendron forest and ethnic villages of Sherpa, Lama and Tibetans to Syabrubesi from where we will drive back to Kathmandu.
