Detail Itinerary
Day01: Kathmandu Arrival
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Complete custom and visa formalities. Representative from Blue Mountain Travels & Tours will receive you and then transfer you to 3- star category hotel. Overnight in a hotel.
Day02: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, a guide will take you on Kathmandu city tour on a private vehicle. Kathmandu Valley has 7 UNESCO sites and Kathmandu city alone has 4 sites. You will visit Pashupatinath – the holiest Hindu Temple, Bouddhanath- the largest Stupa, Swoyambhunath – the oldest stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square- the old Royal Residence. Go for shopping in Thamel in evening.
Day03: Fly or drive to Lumbini
Two modes of transportation are available. After taking 35 minutes of Kathmandu- Bhairahawa flight, you can drive for 30 minutes to reach Lumbini. Alternatively, you can choose land transportation and cover 300km of road in 8hrs to reach Lumbini.
Day04: Lumbini Tour
Explore Mayadevi Temple (the temple dedicated to mother of Gautam Buddha), Puskarini Pond (the pond in which Siddhartha is said to have been bathed right after birth), Sacred Garden, Ashoka Pillar (the pillar that verifies Lumbini as the authentic birthplace of Buddha) and visit the monastic zone.
Day05: Lumbini to Kathmandu
Return fromLumbini to Kathmandu and stay overnight in a hotel.
Day06: Departure
You will be transferred to Airport 3hrs before your scheduled flight. We are happy to serve you. Hope to see you soon.
