Day 01: Arrive in TIA, Kathmandu
When you will arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu you will be tenderly received by the representative staff from Blue Mountain Travels & Tours. Then, from airport you will be taken to hotel. Afterward you will be cleared with detail itineraries so that we can change or modify as per your convenience. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Kathmandu valley consists of numerous Hindu temples counting of Pashupatinath, listed by UNESCO in World Heritage Sites and the largest Buddhist stupa in Boudhanath. You can also visit the Monkey Temple Swyambhunath, built in 2000 years old and visit Patan, city of fine arts. In the afternoon you will meet trekking guide and will make sure every essential things. Stay overnight in guesthouse.
Day 03: Flight to Lukla, trek to Phakding
Spending 2 nights in Kathmandu will give you clear picture of Kathmandu and its people staying over here. SO, taking breakfast you will take a flight from TIA to Lukla as it’s the beginning for new trekking. Arriving in Lukla you will end the day as it’s the opening for trek. So, you will head to trek Phakding. Phakding is situated at an elevation of 2,610 meter; taking 3 to 4 hours will take you to Phakding. Stay overnight in guesthouse.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,446m) 6hrs
This is the day to feel and be in touch with the native people of Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is one of the attractions for every trek which are packaged in Everest Region. So having breakfast in Monjo you will move further crossing several suspension bridges. On this day you will get to view Mt. Thamserku. Then, the trail will take you to Jorsale where you will have your lunch. Ascending further and crossing suspension bridge will link you to Namche Bazaar taking 2 and half hours. Here, you will be viewing Khwangde Range and Thamserku. Stay overnight in guesthouse.
Day 05: Acclimatization day
As you have trekked for several hours you need some acclimatization before you soar up to higher elevation. So, on this day you will have proper rest but you will set out as well to strengthen the muscles. Acclimation does not mean you will simply stay inside so exploring nearby areas is the part of acclimatization day. Stay overnight in guesthouse.
Day 06: Trek to Dole (4,200m) 7 hrs
On the following day you will wake up early and move to Dole. Dole is positioned to be at an elevation of 4,200 meter. To arrive in Dole it takes 7 hours of extensive walk. On this day the team will depart from the traditional trail that show the way to Everest Base Camp. SO, you will start the day with extensive and vertical soar up straight out of Khumjung to a small village known as Mongla. The trail again begins to take zigzag upwards en route to Dole. Stay overnight in guesthouse.
Day 07: Trek to Machchhermo (4,470m) 4 hrs
On the next day you will head from Dole to Machchhermo by taking an ascend. From Machhermo you will get to view the Cho Oyu peak (8,201m), the 6th elevated peak of the world. It just takes 4 hours of stroll to turn up in Machchhermo. Stay overnight in guesthouse.
Day 08: Trek to Gokyo (4,790m) 5hrs
On the following day you will departure for Gokyo from Machhermo. You will go after the scenic trail to Pangka and ascend steep rocky by the side of the glacier. You will cover up first, second and third lakes. Moving in the side of lake, the surroundings will show up with magnificent Gyachung and Cho Oyu whose reflection can be seen in water. Stay overnight in a tented camp.
Day 09: Excursion to Gokyo Lake, ascend Ghokyo Ri (5,357m)
On the following day you will set out to walk around the Gokyo Ri (5,350m), as it is made like an acclimatization day. Whole day you will spend as an excursion to Gokyo Lake and then finally you will soar up to Gokyo Ri. From Gokyo Ri you will be capable to look at Everest. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 10: Trek to Lungdhen (4,380m) 5 hrs
On the next day you will set into Lungdhen with an elevation of 4,380 meter taking 5 hours. To arrive to Lungdhen you will take downward movement and in the mean time you will have your lunch. The moment you are in Lungdhen the difficulty level in trekking starts to minimize. Stay overnight in guesthouse.
Day 11: Trek to Thame (3,800m) 4 hrs
From Lungdhen you will head to Thame after having breakfast. Thame is known for the tradition and culture of Sherpa people. SO, you will get to have depth understanding about Sherpa norms and values. In the evening you will get to participate in the cultural program as well. Stay overnight in guesthouse.
Day 12: Trek to Namche Bazaar 7hrs
Enjoying the night in Thame with exploring the culture of Sherpa people you will set out for the trek to Namche. It takes 7 hours to arrive in Namche from Thame. On this day mainly you will explore bazaar and have some handicrafts made by the native people. Exploring their way of life is another aspect of this day. Stay overnight in guesthouse.
Day 13: Trek to Phakding 7 hrs
Spending pleasing night in Namche Bazaar and viewing sunrise you will move further so that you will turn up to Phakding. It takes 7 hours to arrive in Phakding from Namche so you w enjoy the atmosphere as well as move further. Stay overnight in guesthouse.
Day 14: Trek to Lukla (2,840m) 5 hrs
On the following day you will begin trek in Lukla. Lukla is positioned at an elevation of 2,840 meter and it consumes 6 to 7 hours. So, without any delay you will precede the trek. Another fact is you cannot predict the weather of Lukla. This is the reason why many trekking companies set an additional day for such reason. Stay overnight in guesthouse.
Day 15: Flight to Kathmandu
On the next day you will have your breakfast in an already morning and then you will drive to Lukla Airport. From the airport you will take a flight that will take you to Kathmandu. From TIA, Kathmandu you will transfer to the hotel. Turning into hotel you will take rest and in the evening time you can too set out to explore Kathmandu city. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 16: Departure!!!!
The trek with 16 days in Nepal indeed is an outstanding time all the way through Everest Gokyo Renjo La Pass Thame Trekking with Blue Mountain Travels & Tours. On this day you will revisit your hometown. So, the representative staff from Blue Mountain Travels & Tours will transfer you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for final departure.
